No half-time pitch team talk today

A Lewis Buxton goal from a Wednesday corner gave the home team the points despite Orient being on top for periods of the game.

Alex Revell and Dean Cox both had chances in the first half with Cox also firing wide in the second half when he could have done better.  Tyrrel Forbes had an effort cleared off the line in the second half.

Towards the end, manager Russel Slade threw on extra strikers Tehoue and James Walker, but O’s couldn’t get the goal their performance deserved.

Speaking on Radio 5live commentary, Phil Brown said that man of the match would have to be Alan Irvine (Wednesday manager) for his half-time team-talk which gave the Sheffield players the kick up the butt they needed.

The result leaves the eastenders with 9 points from 11 games, and in the bottom two,  but Brown and fellow commentator Connor Macnamara believes their league position is false after an impressive performance.  Small consolation for the o’s.
