Match report: 1st half
A great result for Orient, inflicting defeat on Cheltenham for the first time in six matches.
Scott McGleish had the visitors first shot on goal after 17 minutes after beating the offside trap, but failed to hit the target.
8 Minutes later Daniels and Demetriou combined to set up Dean Morgan who broke the deadlock with a shot that went in off the post, a second succesive goal aided by the woodwork, following Jason Demetriou’s late winner last week v Oldham.
Cheltenham had just one clear cut chance in the first half, with Jamie Jones preventing Paul Connor scoring against his old club.
Paul Terry had a 25 yard effort just over and there was a double goal line clearance from Townsend. Another great win for Orient under Geraint Williams, and surely condemning Cheltenham to relegation back to League Two.
